The Power feature enables remote management of appliances connected to Bye Bye Standby sockets. It is important to note that functionality relies not only on these sockets but also requires the use of an 'Online Energy Controller.'

For optimal operation, your iPhone or iPad must be within the same IP broadcast domain as the Online Energy Controller. The app functions by transmitting UDP broadcast packets to the controller, which normally occurs automatically if the controller is connected via a wired port on your home router and the device is on the same WiFi network. Registration with a web-based service is unnecessary for the app to function.

Both the Bye Bye Standby sockets and the Online Energy Controller operate within the 433 MHz frequency band. This compatibility opens the possibility that other brands, such as Home Easy, Domia, Brennenstuhl, and potentially additional devices operating on similar protocols, may also be controllable via this system. However, it should be noted that such interoperability has not been officially tested or verified by the manufacturer, and therefore, results cannot be guaranteed.
